Ashley Mustard, CCMA

Medical Assistant

Ashley Mustard began her career at Brock Hughes Medical Center in August 2024. She previously worked for the state of Virginia and recently made a career change to the healthcare field. She holds an Associate’s Degree and Health Science Certificate from Wytheville Community College. She also has obtained her Clinical Certification as a Medical Assistant from New River Community College. She looks forward to continuing her education to obtain her bachelor’s degree in the future.



Ashley was born and raised in Bland County, VA. Apart from her being a Medical Assistant her favorite title that she holds is “Mom.” She and her daughter enjoy spending time outdoors, horseback riding and tending to their small animals. Ashley also loves spending her free time doing photography. She is excited to embark on her journey here at BHMC!

Her favorite Bible verse is Luke 1:45 “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
