Pharmacist
Keri Sword, PharmD attended Radford University and then obtained her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Johnson City Medical Center, specializing in Cardiac Care and Kidney/Pancreas Transplants. She also worked at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist, specializing in Trauma, Acute Care of the Elderly, Pediatrics, and Palliative Care. Before joining the team at BHMC in October of 2021, she was a Pharmacist at Twin County Regional Hospital, specializing in Antimicrobial Stewardship and Patient Safety. She enjoys running and spending time with her family.
